Yasin Çörekci, CEO of Sinoz, one of the fastest growing cosmetics brands in Turkey, evaluated the cosmetics industry in 2023 and explained Sinoz’s goals on the road they set out to beautify the whole world.
Although Turkey, like the whole world, has left behind a difficult year economically, some sectors have managed to profit from the crisis with their investments. While evaluating the year 2024, Yasin Çörekci, CEO of Sinoz Cosmetics, one of the important companies in the cosmetics sector, said, “Competition in the domestic and foreign markets is increasing day by day in the cosmetics sector. Despite this, our turnover is increasing in parallel with our targets. We set our 2024 turnover target as 750 million TL.”
Çörekci said, “Eastern European countries are at the centre of our export target in 2024. We aim to export the successful communication we have achieved with our consumers through empathy and sincerity insights to Eastern European countries in the same way,” he said, drawing attention to the growth they have achieved through “e-commerce” in Turkey.
Stating that their retailing initiatives were interrupted by the pandemic process, Çörekci said, “We carry out our sales through both digital marketing and export and offline sales channels in Turkey. We have a good cooperation with Watsons, our consumers can access all our products only from Watsons Stores. In addition to the stores we have opened through our distributors abroad, our products are also available in many chain markets.”
Turkey grows in cosmetics
Pointing out that the cosmetics sector in Turkey is developing day by day, Sinoz Cosmetics CEO Yasin Çörekci said, “Cosmetics exports, which were 1 billion 100 million dollars last year, seem to increase to 1 billion 600 thousand dollars at the end of 2023.Among the products used by both men and women, sunscreens are the most imported… Sales of these products increase as of March and decrease towards the end of July.Sinoz is at the top of those who sell the most sun cream in Turkey… This means preventing the import of products in our field with our millions of sun cream sales.” He used the expressions.
